About the Artist
Dominic Matthew S. Ricardo (kompoztika), who goes by the name KOMPOZTIKA, is an artist based in Talisay City. His works mainly revolve around collected experiences of self-reflection and vulnerability, and his style is generally influenced by Neo-Expressionism, lowbrow and street art. KOMPOZTIKA has participated in a number of shows throughout the country, he has exhibited in galleries such as Cebu Making Space Gallery and the Joya Gallery in Cebu. He has also participated in art fairs such as Tubo Art Fair 2023 and Mindanao Art Fair 2023 under Studio One Gallery. He is also active in the local street art and underground punk scene, his latest works were exhibited at Kalawakan Spacetime Gallery and Space Encounters Gallery in Manila. In 2025, KOMPOZTIKA published Oddities: ‘The E-Magazine for E-veryone’, a free online publication that featured contributions from over 50 artists in the Philippines.
