About the Artist

Kirsten Co Hat (_cohat) is a 23-year-old visual artist from Ormoc City, Leyte, and a recent Fine Arts – Studio Arts graduate from the University of the Philippines – Cebu. She focuses on oil painting, using experimental techniques with materials like fabric and rubber latex to add texture. Her work explores the female gaze, constructing narratives around healing and self-acceptance. Through her self-portraits, she celebrates and authentically embraces femininity, inviting viewers into a space where these themes are explored with depth and sincerity.
